Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY HOLATKO Peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, Stanley, beloved husband of Waclawa, passed away at the age of 88 years. Stanley is survived by his wife Wanda, of 53 years. He is also survived by his loving family, son Frank (Pattie); grandchildren, Kassia and Nick Holatko of Comox, BC. Also mourning his loss is his daughter Bozena (Mark); grandchildren, Kayla and Kelsey Storimans of Winnipeg. Stanley was born in Poland on January 7, 1921. After serving in the Second World War, he settled in Winnipeg and married Wanda in 1953. He worked very proudly for more than 30 years at C.N. Rail. Stanley was a quiet, loving man who could be seen in his backyard tending his large garden and apple trees. He took pride in his family and his church. Sincere thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the care and love they gave our father. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27 starting at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frank Holatko, Mark Storimans, Roland Storimans, Charlie Holatko, Bob Chapeil and Guy Magnuson. 586-8044
